CHRISPAH MUNYORO is a seasoned Zimbabwean page poet. Her verses are pregnant with crudity and truth. Her satire is heart stabbing. Munyoro writes mature and bold metaphors and her imagery knows no sacred cows. Chrispah’s poetry bleed originality, stomach pit passion and mind raving rhythm. You might want to jive and nod your boggled brains as you graze through her irony succulent lines. Munyoro is a longtime friend, we trudged many creative roads together. In 1999 she introduced me to Zimbabwe Freelance Journalists Association and I also introduced to the Zimbabwe Writers Union now Zimbabwe Writers Association and the Budding Writers Association of Zimbabwe. We have come a long way comrade. I say to you keep informing and educating our communities through poetry. Aluta Continua . Welcome to the TIME OF THE POET PROFILES. When the elephant falls the world shakes in shambles
Legendary Dr Oliver Mutukudzi, with wit and wisdom
Pioneered the musical industry with vigour
Producer, lyrical accelerando, collaborator and humble
You left a great mark and gap with your interactions
Never self centered and a comforter
Ambassador of peace and humility
A great father full of love
Samanyanga, your melodious tunes always treasured
Like ivory forever unique
An icon, an irreplaceable protagonist
The best ever celebrity out of Zimbabwe

Tuku, you raised Zimbabwean flag high internationally
Born and gone with your signal cough
You left a great legacy
It pains that you are no more
At the same time we are in jubilation
You fulfilled your destined mission
Your vigour was never a mission impossible
Celebrating your life with a heavy heart
Tears may not dry but your music will always live
Salute and honour you Dr Oliver Mutukudzi
One of a kind hero, cherish your sagacity
You are now in serenity and better place with no pain
Rest in eternal bliss and peace

Sybaritic horror-stuck, replaying of Hiroshima
Rob Roy pickpocketing glittery shimmer
Bay of blue waters muddy
Serenity and peace reaping madness
Illusions, dreams, hopes fading into dystopia
Destruction of the great Utopia
Reckless breeding atocia
Sphere sprouting false acacia
Realm one booming with Kwaito
Hive of a bene placito
Massaged by gunfire
Veld silently kissed by fire
World turning a blind eye
On the bullets robbing innocent lives by the blink of an eye
A group of owls, insatiable and egomaniacs
Christening intellects into maniacs
Essence of humanity and dignity is lost
Help erased into thin air when needed most
Future an equation of mystery
Souls becoming nemesis thunderbolts of mysery

The phantom pain deeply rooted in the dark rivers of heart
Robbed aspirations erased mercilessly
Parents milking from the feeding breasts
Youth deprived of manna -the bright future
Doom and gloom reeking of sickness and stink mess
Souls demented, bloody teared by mangy tattoos
Big fat cats preying demonically
Slogans of peace toasted in bloody wine glasses
Brewery of tears, sweat, pus and blood brewed
Concoction erupting from Cameroon
Rampage spreading throughout Africa
Born and christened into poverty and vandalism
Sounds of machine guns the nursery lullabies
Luring the masses into believing barbarism is the swag
Hunger an appetizer
Pain the main meal
Destruction the desert
Greatness bulldozed by egomaniac salamanders
Armageddon of pure madness puked and sowed into the blemish
Hierarchy wearing idiocentric sneers

Babies nursing other babies
The kindergarten becoming a cooperate place
Future looks so like a doomsday
Dreams just gloomy
Wishes so deary and weary
Parents wiped away into the abyss
HIV pandemic creating pandemonium chaos
A scourge with no remorse
Venomously destroying humankind
Even after decades the stigmatising is at peak
The affected victims living as aliens
Human hate against each other
After all we are all moving dust
Cry I, for all gone without access to treatments
Tribulations triggered by denial for the society is too judgemental Economic meltdown swallowing families without care
Medicinally all is in vain
Dear God ,we are your orphans
The purpose of life is an impossibility hear our torments
The world is in turmoil, hearts freaking for who HIV aids is picking

Clouded looks brewing cyclone
Smiles transformed into sneers
Voices booming with a clap of lightning
Shrivelling, the beauteous lassie jumpy as a mouse
Physiologically tattered while still sprightly
Affection turned into an emotional wrecked battlefield
Bricks tearing laces into tatters
Voices unlocking stuffed shattered dreams and brains
Is this affectionate, so scorching, shocking and soul breaking?
Today you kiss me tenderly
Whispering how you always miss me
You need me
You hate me
You caress me
You harass me
Verbally abusive, designing a ring of blows
Hailstones of rage leaving chaos
I clearly fail to perceive your chameleon DNA
Do you have any remorse you boo?
Or you feel macho by being a bull
