Iconic story-telling Artist Rosella Laeng presents   an intriguing cinematographic collage wittingly touching complexities and realities of life. The vivid interrogation of death, depiction of identity crisis, realities of womanist-feminist lifestyles, projection of political imbalances and racial inequalities within the American terrain and most probably the entire world.  The films carry within them traces of comedy, dents of tragedy, glints of faded of promise and harsh realities on matters of identity. Rosella Laeng is a prolific storyteller, short film writer, documentary producer and social media expert currently plying her trade expertise with Pulp_pit Magazine in United States of America.  We are featuring a set of three short films namely, Puppets, Jenny Carolin, Egg Donor Artist and La Reina Del Grito. We are proud to present our first film profile here on TIME OF THE POET REPUBLIC with Acclaimed Social Media Expert, Distinguished filmmaker and prolific storyteller Rosella Laeng- (Blurb by Mbizo CHIRASHA)

Puppets- parody by puppets interrogating harsh realities and complexities of life.  Intriguing story telling through puppetry very comical, rhythmic celebration of life through puppetry arts, unique and soul touching. (dramatization of death, the props are legit and resonate clearly with the story-line.

Puppets is A collaboration project of Film Artist Rossella Laeng and Katie Tandy- Co founder of Pulp-Pit

Katie Tandy

Jenny Carolin, Egg Donor Artist-short docu-story on womanist/feminist lifestyle, depicting self-identity.

La Reina Del Grito– The most interesting images in this film  are graffiti on walls and   lampposts yearning   for equality, balance, respect. And this is a long going    birthright tussle between Mexicans and the American system. The border fights have been global hot news. So, this short film is a presentation of the American political and migration landscape.
