Literary combatant Sydney Haile Saize decries social and political decadence pruning citizens into raggedness and moral nudity.  He vehemently protests against wanton human rights abuse, the cruel hand of dictatorship and fist of violence thrashing freedom of expression and freedom after expression to pulp. Saize wields his spiked ink- gun to liberate his tyranny-stricken people from the hard grip of charlatanry, heavy dose of cheap propaganda beverage, from the heavy smashes of violent sloganeering. He speaks porcupine quill truth to the state system grinding human consciences under the wheels of political expediency.  Revolutionary poet is a victim of dictatorial shenanigans by the unrepentant regime of his country of birth and xenophobia menace in the land of rainbows. Sydney Haile Saize is an unwavering literary combatant and has contributed  countless poetry missiles  at  Zimbabwe We Want Poetry Campaign / Brave Voices Poetry Journal since 2017.  AFRICA WRITERS CARAVAN celebrates freedom of expression and revolutionary consciousness through protest verse with veteran page Poet and   liberation griot South African based Zimbabwean born Sydney Haile Saize. Cleanse the blood that stained Chimoio

Heal the bleeding wounds of those bruised in Chitungwiza

Respect their affiliation

Is it still Rhodesia that you forward with the land act?

Draft the tears of homeless Manzou residents

Savages’ expansion

Industrializing our piece of earth

What’s that worth?

Citizens turned to destitute

Modern day fruit-gatherers

And cave-dwellers

Our vote displaced us

Only mountains are shielding our salvage

How long shall people bleed?

Citizens weep

Cry blood Zimbabwe its revolution time

The hour is at hand

Dictatorial sun must set

Justice and Freedom Day dawn

Tired of wet cheeks

Dry cry the world can’t see

Soldier up no more turn cheek

This time let us not bow down.

Patience doesn’t pay
But only averts in a way
For they preach what they ignore to practice
And the reality remains of milking dry the victims
They swear and their vows are perjury
How I wish if I was a jury?
To roast this detriment
Those who are crying
Are recompensed with utmost pain
Those who creates awareness
And defends, justly
Are marginalized
And sacrificed on the cross
Like Christ nailed innocent
Only filthening the altar
So I beg you to rise to the occasion
Let’s fiercely expel them like demons
Another Chimurenga that drove the Smith regime
Of patriotic regiments
Driven with the passion for justice and a competent governance Patience doesn’t pay
For years we have been patiently waiting
But only in vain
Promises comforted us
Then scourged us as fool
The nation is in dire straits

We sympathized shame
Brought it on the table to discuss
Our groaning hearts confined to bleed
Simulating hilarity faces
A nation pulverized
Economic models evolving to rip the poor citizens
Political bigger heads living wantonly
Shamelessly neglecting voices of a suffering mass
Parading ego to revel their victims in applause
Shame, left me dazed
With my pen bleeding ink
Vomiting impetus forces of victory
A mind in my story
Dictators I’m sorry
For expressing my worry
Worries of a real revolution
A change of cir’ es not persons
Both partisans and peasants eating alike
Not only when the cow piss the shit the farmer jubilates
People needs food in their plates
Rallies and propaganda aren’t our production
The effects are now embedding in our DNA.
