Ambily Omanakuttan, India is land of plenty .It is the Canaan of words . It is blessed with beauty , talent , creativity and promise. Your poetry touches on a myriad of matters and thus extraordinary . You are the golden gift to the writing and creative community .As I drink from your calabash frothing the literary richness , reason , meaning and life . I was fulfilled and am energized to continue carrying the torch of resilience. Your verses got me cranked up and zoomed into seeing the need for global tolerance . Thus the essence of humanity and living .Your poetry is an interdict against purveyors of death , killers of our co-existence and wanton stranglers of our ecosystem .we are charged to know that , we are creators of our own suffering from the damning effects of climate change , environmental degradation , hate speech , disease , droughts and moral decadence . TIME OF THE POET REPUBLIC sings with you and is holding your hand to continue purveying messages of peace and tolerance. India ,you are the best . Together We Rise-( Blurb by Mbizo CHIRASHA).

One sky, One earth

The land is not just earth.

But one ploughed into existence.

 As one removes each layerSweat,

dreams and streams will flow.

Wherever the war is

Our heart walls are hurt.

Whichever field is burning

Yours or your neighbour’s,

It is life that starves.

It is the earth’s womb that turns barren.

When can we ever build a dream

that all can see together..?

When can we all join in one prayer

Under the same tree…?

As birds fly beyond borders,

I dream of a nationality

Where I am not a foreigner,

A dream of a singular Nationality.

-Animals,Superior beings.

Never kill for sport.

Only to quench hunger.

Never give murderous calls.

Never touch their matesExcept in the season of love.

Never celebrate

The rape of their offsprings.

Never rape their elders.

Never drink blood as wine.

For they are animals.

Not homo sapiens.

.My Africa. ——————

I am not an African,

But my heart beats with Africa’s.

And my soul is at home in Africa.

When Africa weeps for her children

My cheeks are stained with tears.

Beyond the mountains and valleys,

 Beyond the sight of imagination

 Stood endless black blake

Ofstreet and struggles of life.

Africa, her world is black.

Her eyes will never smile.

They are the survivors,

and the victims of every tragedy.

Their skin like black soil,

their tears are like black river.

They are beyond the description.

 These people marked by color.

   They are a broken race.

A race of slaves,a race of savages.

Africa calls to me

With the cry of eagles that frees my soul,

she lives in the world’s shadow,

But she is the land of tomorrow.

 I am a soldier and a revolutionary,

 And resistance against racial discrimination.
