Poet Maria Del Castillo Sucerquia passionately massages broken hearts with therapeutic poetry

Maria Del Castillo Sucerquia, I greedily swigged from your rich calabash of poetry, the same way I do to woodfire -made traditional millet beer with that natural scent of freshly baked bread, diligently brewed by willing, committed hearts and motherly peasant-earth eking hardened but passionate hands. The beauty of our African village lifestyles. Maria Del Castillo Sucerquia, your poetry is an embodiment of a myriad of voices and messages that matter most to humanity. Humanity had since experienced the horror of death and have incessantly groaned under the burden of sorrow for so long. Thus, we are serenaded by this blood-warming confessional poetry that tackles the subject of love with the inner depth emotion and belly pit passion. Here seasons of death are overtaken by scents of love blooming like petal of roses in our once grief- filled heart boxes. This love verse massages and bandages broken hearts to want to reconcile their tattered feelings for a renewed love life, mesmerizing. You are multi-gifted and not limited to one subject matter. Your torch bulb poetry reflects on human expectations, worries, anxiety, love lost, love found, lives lost and lives lived. The heroine in you remains resilient and uses poetry to speak on matters of the current life-threatening pandemic, the menace of the COVID 19 with its cantankerous triplet’s quarantine, lockdown and death. The set poems are outstanding, prolific and serenading. Readers can spiritedly slide into a dance trance and get trapped in mystic realms of holy poetic tongues. Time of the griot with Legendary Poet Hannie Rouweler.

Her simplified verse is deep, as it raves the core of the inner of marrow and then cuts through our COVID 19 hardened mental boxes to reawaken of consciousness. Her pen spits metaphors carefreely. Rouweler was born with a poetry golden spoon stuck on her tongue, baptized and sanctified by the incense of word culture. Hannie’s poetry interrogates history, lifestyles and the political moments. Her vivid imagery depicts cultural diversity, human excitements and stereotypes. In some instances, the poet is nostalgic of the peaceful past that was endowed with promise, hope and harmonious routine and as the present ridden with sorrow, laden with grief and disease infested. The poem AGAINST TIME is a prolific story told and written with the style of poetry. These lyrical dexterities presented in this versification qualifies Poet Hannie Rouweler into the Poetry Defenders Hall of Fame, already Rouweler is a staunch defender of poets, their rights and their writings. This submission is both in English and Dutch.TIME OF THE POET REPUBLIC is proud to be associated with dexterity , excellence and prowess in the personality of Internationally acclaimed poet , editor and publisher emeritus Hannie Rouweler-( Blurb by Mbizo CHIRASHA).

The World Museum of Poetry , the Piccolo Museo della Poesia Chiesa di San Cristoforo was recently launched in Piacenza,Italy.

The small Museum exists since 2014 thanks to the courage and determination of Massimo Silvotti, writer, poet, artist, philosopher: “ The contamination between the arts is very fascinating, it is no coincidence that we are also an exhibition space and often in our events we created a mixture of music, theater, cinema, dance and more. The Museum's mission is not exclusively conservative, on the contrary, we want to bring poetry back to the squares, to the people, so that they can re-appropriate it. Aim is to be the center of innovation and experimentation in arts; interacting with the smartest intelligences of the contemporary art world on international level and create a continuous laboratory for communication . Out in the center of the museum a work by the artist Antje Stehn, a monumental dress made of feathers (Xiao Bing's dress, homage to Pippa Bacca)which stands for the union between classical and contemporary art.

Your stubbed verses glow with the oil of reason and as our patched readers throat and groping hearts are surrendered to swig grape-fruit juice of wisdom from jugs of suspense. The imagery captivates the mind and as well ripples our blood streams, while it reveals shadows walking stealthily behind mountains of life. The set of poems is refreshing and profoundly unusual. Sister Poets speaking in woma-lingo tongues(WOMAWORDS August Edition).

WORD is a force and within its etymology, has a force as mysterious and mythical as the cycles of life presented in a woman’s body. Womanhood is a tribe with two sides that push and pull, drawing in and drawing out to balance between the physical and the ethereal. A woman is a S/WORD, slashing self-preservation to indulge creation into the path of continuity. Her voice is a lullaby that soothes kings before they wear crowns of authority and high handedness. Her voice of a weeping window burying her soldier sons. She is the hearth that feeds life a protective shell to glimpse its first experience of all earthly journeys. To discount a woman is to discount nature’s benevolence in its ever giving nurture. To disparage a woman is to spit at the hand of creation that give so much grace to a creature that births itself and other. In cerebrating womanhood, great poetry was birthed. No one can judge the emotions and wisdom within the words neither can accurate value be stamped authoritatively upon any piece, for all without fail deliver a universal truth about the plight of women in their journey of holding their divine portion in sustaining and carrying on the mantle of living. Great voices that speak ‘womalingo’ from WOWAWORDS recent entries delivered from their hearts and to other hearts. Ten pieces that speak as internationally as music does in its varied tones, tunes and crescendos from Caroline Akui of Kenya, Nelani Goonawardena from India and Anya Wikramanayake Sri Lanka, Colombo.
