REALITIES OF WALKING INTO THE NEW AGE OF THE NEW NORMAL: Writing my paradoxical eulogy for the year 2020 (A Personal Essay by Mbizo CHIRASHA)

The dawn of 2020 rose   with rays of promise alongside a dark cloud pregnant with the   iron wind .The life sapping and hope scorching iron wind perilously strangled every corner of this our earth of God. It ruthlessly  unleashed  wings of death onto  the  brave- land, America , into the oil sodden sand dunes of Persian Gulf  to the dreamlands of  South America , Trinidad and Tobago  , Naracargua and  unto the rice fields  of the great  Mahatma Gandi ,  the supreme land of India  up to the vast rainforests of the Amazon basin , the Brazil  . It raved through the British Columbia .The dark cloud and the heavy wind screeched their fart into the holy valleys of Jerusalem, the land of promise into Teleaviv and Gaza Strip.  The Iron Wind skidded to a sudden halt in city squares of land that was once ruled by the iron fist of authoritarian fascist Benito Mussolini, into the Roman Catholic capital of Vatican, Italy. Pakistan and Palestine were not spared either, by the virulent Iron Wind. Then into Africa North of Sahara and Africa South of Sahara.

Eulogy for the Beautiful Soul and Literary Arts Activism Genius , G Jamie Dedes

The literary arts activism community has since been robbed of a selfless ,creative dedicated , resilient literary arts captain and 2019 WOMAWORDS LITERARY PRESS Laureate Jamie Dedes . A literary arts activism revolutionary , Founding Editor of the BeZine Journal for Arts and Humanities , Founder and Managing Editor of A Poet A Day Zine. Dedes was a staunch advocate of social justice , human freedoms and good governance through poetry and literary arts activism. She was a literary arts partner of WOMAWORDS LITERARY PRESS, Brave Voices Poetry journal . Laureate Jamie Dedes immensely advocated , incessantly influenced and profoundly publicized for the protection and safety of Mbizo Chirasha , Zimbabwean poet in exile. Many of Mbizo Chirashas poems , essays and hybrid writings of his exile life and human justices were wholesomely published onto BeZine and A Poet a Day publications. Through her advocacy the PEN Deauschland offered Mbizo Chirasha a six months Free Speech Scholarship grant in 2020 that helped the resistance poet to continue writing and influence social justice and human freedoms through poetry arts , digital poetry collections and literary arts activism. Dedes was profoundly gifted , resilient , creative and highly spirited. I have decided to write this remembrance message and an eulogy in form of poem below. May your beautiful rest in the warms of the Lord our God Jamie Dedes ( Message by Mbizo CHIRASHA- CoreTeam Member and G Jamie Dedes partner in literary Arts Activism Projects)
