Prolific WordSmith Isabel Bermudez roasts diction into soul-fulfilling Poetry frikkadels.

Your diligently baked poetic lines transcending from biblical allusions, patriotism, spirituality, ideology and reason. All these thus the essence of a true poet. Lyrical Dexter, Isabel Bermudez, you roast diction into soul -fulfilling verse, the same way Xhosa women diligently make frikkadels out of sunflower oil and dough. In those Xhosa homes, when every dawn you hear frying pans hissing with cooking oil from caressing torment of wood-fire baking frikkadels. Your poems are fulfilling and your lines are fat with reason and rich with consciousness. Your imagery is profoundly vivid and is deliciously sumptuous like beef -roast in Masai kitchens.  As a willing reader, a keen consumer of your excellent art of words like we do to well-matured red wines and road runner-village chicken roast. Am contended with the extent of artistic prowess and amount of creative excellence. And I have no doubt that a host of other readers share the same positive reader conclusion with me. TIME OF THE POET REPUBLIC continues to maintain its artistic relationship with Colombian Literary Arts Community by featuring the prolific educator, internationally adored artist, film maker, widely published poet and multi-award-winning author Isabel Bermudez- (Blurb by Mbizo CHIRASHA).

Mama Africa is the Republik’ of Poetry (Brave Voices Poetry Journal 65)

Mother Africa survived the trauma of clanging chains of captivity during SLAVE TRADE , shackles of colonialism and winced from beatings of hard bolt nut clenched fists of apartheid. Children and grandchildren of Mother Africa watched helplessly her sorrowful dance to the acoustics of sufferance. Still , Africa remain resilient against beauty - smashing punches from kindred’s of neo-colonialism : global village, digital revolution and consumerism .Mama Africa’s groin is ripped apart by her triplets totalitarian regimes, economic malaise and moral decadence. Today Mother Africa of pyramids , Africa of Nefertiti , Africa of Lumumba , Africa of Mandela ,Africa of Kambarage , Africa of Lithium , Africa of diamond and Africa of uranium wallow in murky waters of poverty ,chronic civil wars and deadly epidemics .Young and established poets contributing to this Brave Voices Poetry Journal 65 Edition, AFRICA IS A POETRY REPUBLIC dipped pen tongues into dimples and crevices of our Mother Africa . The poetic tongues then spat their snort of satire and the saliva of paradox onto our mental inboxes. Tonight, we are pilgrims to the poetry gods and goddesses, we trudge through shrines of metaphor, altars of irony, mountains of hyperbole and forests of rhythm until we reach to the zenith of the POETRY REPUBLIC-Africa .( Editor of Brave Voices Poetry Journal).

Our Poetry Publisher Emeritus is AGRON SHELE.

A global literary voices Collective(ATUNIS GALAXY ANTHOLOGY ) – 2019 comes as a prelude to sensations of contemporary art and embodies the values and individual literary work of poets. Such a magic universe of word styles attracts all of us towards the ridges and valleys of muses and fantasies, it leads you towards western horizons, it succumbs you in the deepest quarters of pleasure, it gives, brings a renaissance towards the sunrise with morning dew, takes you towards skies of flying birds, the skies which are radiant in the shining lights of fiery stars and always embraces and impresses all of us without even noticing it within the gravity of sentiments, eloquence and greatness of artistic thoughts. Literature as a component of cultural description of all times, has emerged through a myriad number of shapes and forms and all this surge has only one objective, that of reflecting thoughts of essence throughout all times, as well as unraveling metaphysical subjects for more development, for more prosperity and social emancipation. In this context and within a variety of genres that have been shaped, here comes today the sculpture of our ideas, in order to discuss and serve as a mirror image of literary summaries which have been published here, lights and shadows of concepts, although it may always come against us- Agron Shele - The Editor in Chief.

MOZA IS OUR COUNTRY :Brave Voices Poetry Journal 64.

MOZA IS OUR COUNTRY : 2019 arrived with omens of bad luck of death, hunger and disease. Maybe Gods are angry or bad devils are at it again. The wings of Cyclone Idai, Satan’s angel washed away the soul, breath and glint of Moza. Moza twice died and was raised by our Gods of resilience. Today we are warming the heart of Moza with metaphors of hope and we also mourn the loss of those buried in unmarked cemeteries of IDAI and KENNETH. We write these messages to massage the bruised confidence of Moza and with the hope that Moza will rise again from cinders of despair. We are African griots grieving with you Comrade Moza in this moment of forced silence and we shall dance alongside at sun rise. We say to the people of Mozambique Together We Rise. To those souls and spirits wiped away by the devils wing, we say Rest in Peace and we implore the Gods to calm your anguished spirits. ALUTA CONTINUA, land of the brave. From Tete to Sofala, Maputo to Beira, Chimoio to Manica, Nampula to Gorongoza. We say MOZA is our country .ALUTA
