Wordsmith Ludwig Saavedra talks of Poetry as a catalyst in exposing human struggles and societal perceptions.

Poet LUDWIG SAAVEDRA, your poems are in synchrony with biblical revelations. And you are the diligent wordsmith proudly donning the garb of the John Elder, the Christian of Ephesus writing the Book of Revelations at the Island of Patmos. Your lines are highly revealing, they project and exhibit the clout of poetry and the power of words in changing perceptions. The catalytic effect of the art of poesy in effecting revolutions (cultural, moral, political and economic) for the best or for the worst. Your poetry is wittingly true and confessional. As it is inked under the verve of stream of consciousness, some kind of exceptional of ingenuity. From the marrow of your imagery and the bone of your verbiage , we learn with zeal and gusto the prophet poet in you and your apt literary consciousness .It has since dawned to us that your great mind is a baobab canopy that carries myriad burdens of humanity from ancient epochs to the dawns of current revolutions . your groping heart is an ocean of secrets and long-ago doctrines that gripped society. Your submission is in both Spanish and English is another plus to your poetry mission. Thus, a great signal of cultural tolerance and thus such another character of our Center. TIME OF THE POET REPUBLIC cherish a diversity of ideas, racial inclusivity and creativity. We are profoundly gratified to publish you and your literary consciousness on this international platform. We are proud of you and all other poets for gracing this global Arts and Writers Centre- (Blurb by Mbizo CHIRASHA)

Fiona Khan, your lyrical Pansula drove us into poetic trances

The scintillating, rat -tat rhythm and the drumbeat vibe of her well coined verses bombarded my lyric thrashed mental box. Poetry that roast and cracks popcorn in my bloodstream, real poetry. The lyrical dexterity is magical like the glow of rays at morning time and the grace of the silver moon above Table Mountains cleaning the dark of shadows off the human wonderland. Intensity of messages coupled with belly pit rumbling imagery mesmerizes the readers mental eye. The touch of Africaness as   lines precede one after another blow by blow. Here  is  poetry band Symbolism  plays drums , while imagery dances like breakdance, kwaito or pansula , rhythm here is a leading vocalist at the spoken word impromptu .Again after the frenzied dances , the beat  ,the echo  and the metaphoric trances .Symbolism is left on stage to perform  his natural intercourse with the audience’s heart caves. The poem I’m BEAUTIFUL is trailblazing, the poem is human, this poem is earthly and beautiful. Can I say it is a poem turned human or human turned into a poem.  FIONA KHAN diligently fuses spoken word poesy and  page poetry to feed her audience  with a poetic balanced diet . PROLIFIC.KHAN is the founder of several literary arts, literacy projects and child care projects. She is the Founder of The Fiona Khan Academy of Learning, a child-oriented project. KHAN is spearheading The Global Forum 4 Literacy, a UNESCO recognized organisation. LEGIT.
