Megha Sood , Your poetry is a spiderweb of bone-marrow truth coughed out of decades of resilience and resistance .And sneezed from years roasted in sizzling pots of literary consciousness and psychical revolutions . The verbal vintage and pit-belly poetic depth signals unmatched dexterity of a pen-slinger cum griot graffitiing proverbial psalms on rough mats of the rainbow. Metaphors tidily polishing our evil -gripped earth with calamine of reason and lotions of wisdom from the stench of mental snoring .Poetry that walks again dead men into life .Your boldness transfigures our somber world into sobriety .Rhythm that resurrects sleeping souls to sing along and jive to the reverberating beat of the coming dawn . Your poetry is a sacred blessing gifted to Kings from ancient epochs onto modern times . Psychical prowess , verbal dexterity and the heart -thudding rhythm are triplets dictating the literary vitality of this nerve-wrecking but mindboggling poetry submission. TIME OF THE POET REPUBLIC is prided in archiving and profiling an globally acclaimed anthologist , poet extraordinaire, Hallowed Digital Poetry Artivist ,Proflic Curator and Poet Megha Sood .This is dope.( Blurb by Mbizo CHIRASHA)
Kabedoopong Piddo Ddibe’st , your poetry are footprints dipped onto the dew beaten village path during ancient country dawns. Your verses are metaphors inscribed on the back of rainbows new and old. Your poems speak time, are timeless and they seize hearts that lived and thumped through long struggles and unfounded freedoms. Your words are fingerprints of long gone matriarchs and departed patriarchs that imbibed wisdom from ancient millet gourds of home. You are a voice crying in the wilderness of beautiful Uganda and must be collected to be carved onto the literary DNA of this African poetry generation for the present and future of educational instruction .You remind me of pioneers of traditional poetry , revolutionary griots Agostino Neto , Frank Chipasula , Jack Mapange , Niyi Osundare , Chenjerai Hove , Carlos Chombo aka Thomas Sukutai Bvuma, Okot BibiTek , the Ugandan- African grandmaster of African traditional verse . The beat in your poetry tinkers on to the roof my heart cave like a village drum throbbing from a distance, its echoes reverberating beyond red hills of home. The aroma of your mature, heavily fermented poesy attracts the poetry famished nostrils in academic walls, reading rooms, university lecture –rooms and those yet to be born. Aluta Continua! Viviana Fiorentino is a versatile migrant literary bird born and bred in Italy and now living in Belfast, Ireland . The griot in Fiorentino has mastered the art of word activism. He subject lines are deep with both sense of belonging and miseries related to nostalgia. Her rhythm packed and lyrically correct versifications are tensely confessional. Confessional poetry is the usual soul food to the audience and is closely linked to psychical and spiritual matters, something to do with memories, experiences, identity, history, traditions, realities and complexities of life, with a clear assertion that life experiences can be both rosy and gloomy. After reading more carefully and listening attentively to her voice, you pick her love for humanity, her quest for the rain of freedom, her passion for those thrashed by lashes of poverty under the steel yoke of racial hegemony , shrieking in dust ridden hovels of stigma, choking in dungeons of rejection , those roasted in hot pans of abject sufferance by toxic politics and those with souls stewing dumping sites of moral decadence. Every verse carries rain clouds, promise, sunrays of hope and sometimes gloom, paradox raises its ugly and beautiful head in most of her versifications. This set of poems is a testament of belonging , the beauty of life, the ugliness of it thereof ,nostalgia and the love for human freedoms by the distinguished poet using artivism to for and about the plight of refugees ,exiles and other vulnerable human communities. Viviana Fiorentino is a distinguished scholar, acclaimed humanitarian, advocate for human freedoms and hallowed poet. Greetings to all Scholars, Poets and human freedoms in Italy and Belfast. Rachel Blum, your poetry tastes like plums, I enjoyed a variegated dish of oil dipped roast of reason, mouth-watering lyrical flavors, mind -charging moral consciousness and the delicacy is literary prowess. The wittingly stubbed verses are not daft or toxic like nicotine, they are a paradoxical concentrate sweetened with passion and beautifully colored with spiritual reverence. The sumptuous drumstick-thick inner- depth meaning is in sync with diligently economized verbiage. While both expression and presentation are creatively coordinated and thus automatically walks you onto the poetry hall of fame red-carpet. Your writings are a well -framed collage of images of love, nature, spirituality, consciousness and human identities. The poetry reminds humanity of woes that befall them but again massages earthly wounds that might have been perpetuated by those woes, sin and savagery. This set of poems is extracted from a Rachel Blum poetry collection, The Doctor of Flowers (3: A Taos Press). TIME OF THE POET REPUBLIC is prided in exhibiting diversity, creativity and dexterity. Distinguished Poet and Acclaimed Wordsmith Rachel Blum, welcome to our Poetry and Literary Arts Activism. I see fellow poets and poetry lovers enjoying your versifications- (Blurb by Mbizo CHIRASHA)

Sue Burge, your poetry is a concoctional beverage - mix of protest , literary sanity and lyrical dexterity . Cinematographic imagery and satire -sweetened reason are rich ingredients to flavor this diligently brewed mind-drumming versification . The poetic refreshment tastes paradox as the lines are creamed by peanut -paste of praise and marmalade- jam of protest. Verses are thoroughly simple in presentation , the meaning is grindingly psychical and the reason is hard to grind . The poet is a seasoned chronicler serving her readers with bitter sweet paradoxical morning soups , throat scalding metaphoric crank, nerve- jamming and mind spinning metaphor spiced beverages. The Poet in Burge versifies boldly about daily life matters , love , anger , hope , promise ,polarity , hypocrisy ,unfairness , ignorance and savagery .Her poetry defines and describes life and all that surrounds us as humanity . The newest collection of poems (October 2020) is a book length poetic adaptation of 114 poems in Kenneth Rexroth’s 1971 publication (New Directions) of his One Hundred Poems from the Chinese.Poet, editor and publisher Michael Dickel (Is A Rose Press) and his team worked on developing a stunning presentation, with a world book launch scheduled from Milwaukee on Nov. 11, 7:30 pm CST. “By a Lake Near a Moon: Fishing with the Chinese Masters” was a delight to work on, especially as I had spent many previous years developing Holocaust response poems, some short and some very long. I admit I was looking for something to help cleanse my old spirit of such dark times. Perhaps I can send a flyer from the host, Boswell Books of Milwaukee. The next book project is accepted for possibly late 2021 or early 2022, newer poems under the working title, “Hello There,” a collection of mixed poems from years ago, and a few months ago. I hope these three newer books will add to earlier books based on Conquistador narratives, primarily translated Spanish narratives. Who knows what’s next, or if there will be a “next” in these Covid-19 times.
